GENERAL INFORMATION

| APPROVALS
|
The Bureau for Private Postsecondary Vocational
Education has determined that American College of Law has met the
minimum standard requirements to operate and to confer the J.D.
degree. The college's graduates qualify to take the California General
Bar Examinations. The American College of Law is also approved under
the State and Federal law for the training of veterans. |
| THE
ACADEMIC YEAR |
| The
college operates on a semester basis. The normal school year consist
of two sixteen(16)-week semesters and a ten (10) week summer session.
The fall semester commences in September, the spring semester in
January, and the summer session in June.

| SUMMER
SESSION |
| A
wide variety of classes are offered. Some students take fewer classes
during the regular school semesters and use our summer session as
an opportunity to obtain their required yearly minimum number of
units. The summer session lasts ten(10) weeks.

| ORIENTATION
|
| Orientation
session are mandatory for all entering students and are held in
three sessions which are in May, August, and December. These sessions
are of importance to the entering student because they will receive
valuable guidance and information from the administration as well
as have a tour of the facilities. At that time the entering student
will receive his/her's orientation handbook which is a valuable
tool to assist the student through their law school education. The
entering student will meet the key administration staff personnel,
faculty members and other American College of Law' student members
and alumni. These sessions were devised to help every entering student
to handle his or her transition into law school and law study. |

| Books
which are required or recommended for study will always be available
